National Bank Financial’s Merchant Banking Group expands and refines the services currently offered to investment banking clients, while making a broader range of investment products available to its investor clients. National Bank Financial and the National Bank of Canada have both committed a minimum of $75 million to this enterprise and raise additional funds from third parties to invest in Merchant Bank partnerships. These associations invest in the stock and stock equivalents of private companies and, from time to time, publicly held companies.
